Event Description:
Nominations are now being accepted for Delta Business's first Spirit Award. The award will be presented to one outstanding businessperson in North Louisiana. The winner will receive the award at an honorary luncheon to be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Monroe Civic Center.
Anyone can nominate a candidate for the award. To be considered, the honoree must have contributed a lifetime to a business endeavor in the area, must be near or past retirement, and must have demonstrated economic growth, exceptional leadership skills, innovation and management expertise throughout his/her career. Philanthropic and community contributions may be considered.
Nominate a candidate by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DeltaBusinessSpiritAward and completing the online form. Supporting data entered into the form will enable judges to make better decisions.
Nominations will be judged by a panel of business peers. Applications must be submitted by September 6, 2013.
Also on October 17th, there will be a Business to Business Expo hosted by Delta Business, opening at noon and culminating with a Business-After-Five Cocktail event from 5 to 6:30 pm that evening.
