Art with a Bayou View

In partnership with the Monroe Symphony Orchestra, Premier Plaza and the University of Louisiana at Monroe will present ART WITH A BAYOU VIEW Friday November 22, 2013 at ULM?s Library Conference Center from 6:00 p.m. ? 9:00 p.m. Celebrating its 12th anniversary, this year?s event will be a juried competition art event showcasing both local and regional artists. Our Juror for this event is Dr. Edwin Pinkston, renowned artist from this region and former professor at Louisiana Tech University. The $50 event ticket includes gourmet appetizers, decadent desserts, wine, beer, a martini bar, artist lecture by Dr. Pinkston along with the opportunity to view/purchase quality art against the backdrop of the beautiful Bayou DeSiard . Also featured this year is a live auction of fabulous packages including trips to New Orleans, Orange Beach, Beaver Creek, a stay at the Paragon Casino, a Blue Dog print, a painting by Lissy Sanders, wine, catered dinners by respected local chefs and many more.
