Big Support for Small Business
February 9, 2018
8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, 112 Professional Drive

You may qualify for valuable state programs which are designed to help increase the capacity of your business. Most businesses headquartered in Louisiana are eligible for state funded business development and capacity building initiatives. By employing varied state assistance and incentives, the growth and expansion of your enterprise may be accelerated.

Some programs help pay for essential professional services and advisors or managerial training and coaching. Other programs provide loan guarantees, procurement opportunities, bonding assistance, market research, peer mentoring, international marketing, employee training and more. The capacity and reach of your management team can be expanded by understanding and utilizing these programs.

This meeting only lasts an hour. Owners who use the Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) Program typically receive about $1,000 in state funds to be applied toward professional service fees and many also experience a significant increase in sales. That’s a good return for one hour’s time.

The Louisiana Tech University Technology Business Development Center (TBDC) and West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce will present an overview of these resources at the Chamber office on Friday, February 9, from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM.
