The first concert will be held Wednesday September 1st featuring Braydon Watts. Braydon Watts may be only 17 years old, but he can shred a Telecaster with the same abilities of a man twice his age. The same can be said for his songwriting. As the frontman for fledgling band Black Oak Revival, which he formed with Aidan Johnston, grandson of one of NELA’s greatest troubadors, Mr. Monty Russell.   Currently residing in Minden, Braydon originally hails from Cotton Valley. He began playing music just six years ago, honing his craft by playing along to the Rolling Stones. Braydon names them as one of his major influences a long with Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer, and Brad Paisley. He cut his teeth in performing with appearances on the Columbia County Hayride in Magnolia, AR but you can find him all over the place these days from the stage at The Silver Star in Shreveport to Sundown Tavern in Ruston and everywhere in between.
