Featuring The Josh Love Duo
Josh Love grew up in the small town of Crossett, Arkansas. Ever since he could remember he’s been a fan of music, whether it was the progressive sounds of Rush or the soothing RnB vibes of Brian McKnight. He was an accomplished air guitarist many years before he picked up a real one. At 15 years old after listening to a friend audition on guitar for a talent show Josh picked up the instrument. For the next few years he’d learn music from recordings and videos on his own. Fast forwarding a bit, he began study music at the local college in Monroe, playing guitar in the jazz band and singing in the choir. This exposed him to many different types of music and musical situations. After college he began to free-lance and also front a band called the Josh Love Band. In 2016 he won the NELA music’s “Emerging Artist Of The Year” award. He plays regularly at the local venues and also has a weekly slot at Copeland’s in Monroe, LA on Saturdays from 6pm-9pm. He’s still looking forward to the many musical opportunities that he’ll come across in the very near future.
