Joshua Stockley (Ph.D., University of Oklahoma, 2005) is an Associate Professor of Political Science, L.M. McKneely Endowed Professor, and Director of the ULM Honors Program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His teaching and research cover American government, state and local politics, campaigns and elections, Southern politics, public policy, culture and politics, and public administration. He has published articles that have appeared in the journals Race, Class, and Gender, Southern Political Report, and Louisiana Progress Journal; as well as book chapters for edited volumes The 2012 Nomination and the Future of the Republican Party, The Roads to Congress, and Mediated Images of the South. He is a frequent media contributor to newspapers, radio stations, and television stations across the state and the nation. He is married to a public school teacher, April, and has two children.
