These will include the highly anticipated turning of the Blue Goose Migration Marker, as well as the annual photo contest exhibit, captivating displays of native animals, a nature book sale, free opportunities for canoeing and kayaking, face painting, the chance to interact with native animals, engaging science-based fun, information on recycling and anti-littering, weather and climate-related activities, various arts and crafts stations, the unique opportunity to witness artists working on-site, and numerous creative photo ops, just to name a few! In making this event a reality, we are proud to have the involvement of several community organizations, scouts, high school clubs, and local universities. Additionally, the esteemed assistance of Fish and Wildlife Service staff and the devoted members of Friends of Black Bayou will further enhance the experience for everyone.
