The Family Justice Center of Ouachita Parish presents Hope in the Light of Day. Hope in the Light of Day is the annual domestic violence awareness month commemorative ceremony. We invited you to join the Ouachita Parish SAFE Task Force in celebrating survivors of domestic violence and those who work to end it. The event will take place Thursday, October 4 at 10 a.m. at Ouachita Grand Plaza located at 501 S. Grand in Monroe. This is a FREE event. Featured guest include: Minister Shivon Woodard of Christ Church, West Monroe; Mayor Jamie Mayo, City of Monroe; Dede Dunham, KNOE Anchor and Spoken Word Artist; Sylvester Taylor, Keynote Speaker; Mariah Wineski, Executive Director of LCADV; and Jasmyne McConnell, ADA 4th Judicial District
