Maggie Koerner Live at Strauss Theatre

Maggie Koerner is a soulful Louisiana-native / singer-songwriter who was the lead singer and front-woman for legendary New Orleans’ funk-band Galactic before going independent. Self-proclaimed “Shreveport bred, New Orleans fed” artist Maggie Koerner isn’t just a powerful voice, she’s an all-out tour-de-force. Koerner has shared the stage with icons like Charles Bradley, Trombone Shorty, The Revivalists, and Tank and the Bangas. Her staggeringly powerful presence has always set her apart from the rest. She recently performed JazzFest 2023 and a sold-out JazzFest Friday show at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. It is our honor to have her close out the inaugural Singer Song-Writer Series at Strauss Theatre Center.
