Mardi Gras in West Monroe/Monroe

Join us in Monroe-West Monroe for our 2018 Mardi Gras. The day is full of family fun and Mardi Gras adventures. Below you will find the schedule of events for Saturday, February 3!

Schedule of Events

10:00 am -  Krewe of Janus Children's Mardi Gras Parade.  Complete with beads and floats and Mardi Gras fun at Pecanland Mall's Center Court. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the first 100 participants receive a goody bag!

1:30 pm - 12th Annual Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade
Costume judging begins at noon.  Parade lines up at @ 1 p.m., rolls at 1:15 p.m.  Animals must be on a non-retractable leash.  See a twist on the traditional Mardi Gras festivities with pets of all sorts in costumes and floats, and of course plenty of beads along their parade route in Antique Alley!  Pet owners responsible for clean up of pet waste, bags will be provided.  parade@pawsnela.org for more info.
