NEDHSA Mental Health Art Exhibition at Ruston Artisans

NEDHSA will showcase 14 original creative works created by Inique Harris, Shiketra May White, Derek Davis, Keagan Vaughan, JaCera Francois, and Rachel Madden at the Ruston Artisans Gallery in Downtown Ruston. This exhibition is part of the agency's Art Is Medicine special initiative, an integrated health care, evidence-based prevention, communications, and treatment strategy to help serve persons with mental health, addictive disorders, and developmental disabilities. On October 19th, an opening reception will be held featuring the exhibiting artists as well as NEDHSA personnel. The mental health artists will also bring new works of art open for sale! *The gallery will open the exhibit to visitors on October 11th. A?ll members of the NELA community are invited to come and engage with the amazing works of art and experience ART AS MEDICINE.
