New York Times Best Selling Author to Speak in Monroe Nov. 18
New York Times Best Selling Author Rod Dreher will be in Monroe on November 18 to share his story about his new book "The Little Way of Ruthie Leming."
Mr. Dreher will share his story on Monday, Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Chennualt Aviation Museum Theater in Monroe. There will be a book signing and refreshments from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
In 2010, Mr. Dreher's little sister, Ruthie, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was 40 years old, an avid outdoorsman, beloved middle school teacher, mother to three young girls, and the happy wife of her high school sweetheart.
"The Little Way of Ruthie Leming: A Southern Girl, a Small Town, and the Secret of a Good Life" is a story about faith in illness, how community can become family, and the way a tiny town with a big heart inspired the powerful and difficult decision for one man to return home.
The event is hosted by Fletcher Financial Group. There is no admission to attend. For more information, please call (318) 387-8918
