Northeast Delta Human Services Authority and the Louisiana Department of Health will be hosting a Opioid Misuse and Abuse Community Town Hall meeting Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from Noon to 1:30 p.m. at Walk in the Word Family Church in Monroe, LA. This community gathering will identify public and professional concerns regarding prevention strategies and opioid treatment options in the Northeast Louisiana region. In addition to hearing citizens’ concerns, the town hall will also invite a panel of subject matter experts to share their experiences and ideas on how to best address this severe public health crisis.
