The City of West Monroe will continue its “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” speaker series on Thursday, May 16.
The sponsor of the May 16 breakfast is Marion State Bank.
The series continues on Thursday, May 16 at 8 a.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center. The featured speaker will be Cassie Condrey, a Lake Providence native, and president of the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation.
Cassie is also president of local nonprofit organization Doorway to Louisiana. In Lake Providence she co-owns the East Carroll Banner newspaper and is proprietor of the Bernard House and Still Here General Store. She will be speaking about her efforts to revitalize the Lake Providence community.
This speaker series is part of the city’s “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” campaign which was launched in 2021 as a way to activate the community with ways that individuals, businesses and organizations can personally elevate West Monroe.
These events are all free to the public. A light breakfast will be served.
