The West Monroe High School Foundation is hosting its 2nd annual Costume 5K on October 31. We are looking for local businesses that would like to partner with us by sponsoring this event. We have already secured our Title Sponsor, which will be Plunk’s Wrecker Service (thank you Louis Parker!). We will do our best to give our sponsors plenty of exposure!
I’d like to give you a little information about the Foundation, for those who might not be familiar with this organization and its mission. The WMHS Foundation was founded in 2009, and since its inception, has spent well over $100,000 supporting WMHS in the form of grants for teachers, campus improvements, teachers stipends for classroom supplies, and advocating on its behalf. We work closely with the school’s administration to make sure we are funding initiatives that best adhere to our mission. Through individual and corporate contributions, we are able to distribute funds to WMHS in order to complement, enhance and enrich academic programs beyond the means of conventional public funding - and it certainly makes a difference to students, faculty, and our community!

The Foundation wants to draw people to our great community, as well as WMHS!
Please consider sponsoring our Costume 5K. A sponsorship form is attached, as well as a race entry form. Feel free to copy and distribute these entry forms - that would also help us tremendously!
