Keep West Monroe Beautiful awards grants as part of citywide campaign

 Keep West Monroe Beautiful has awarded two grants to local businesses as part of the City of West Monroe’s new campaign – “Take West Monroe to the Next Level.” 
 

Take West Monroe to the Next Level is a community campaign recently launched by the City of West Monroe and West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. The campaign’s purpose is to encourage business owners, residents, nonprofit organizations and others to take greater pride in West Monroe, particularly in the community’s appearance. 
 

In support of the campaign, Keep West Monroe Beautiful chose to award two businesses with grants to encourage businesses along the Cypress Street corridor to enhance their exterior appearance. 

Those receiving grants of $250 each are CB’s Pawn Shop at 1300 Cypress Street and Granny’s Family Restaurant at 2510 Cypress Street.
