ORIGIN BANK HIRES MICKEY MCCARTY AS VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
Origin Bank has hired Mickey McCarty as vice president of business development in the Northeast Louisiana region. A lifelong resident of Monroe, he previously served as a teacher and coach, athletic director, and principal at Neville High School.
“Mickey is well-known as a strong leader, mentor and community advocate. He’s a great addition to our team and we’re thrilled to have him at Origin Bank,” said Northeast Louisiana Market Leader Billy Haddad.
As an educator and coach, McCarty has over thirty years of experience building relationships and collaborating with community partners. In his new role, he will enhance service to existing customers and develop new opportunities in support of Origin's strategic growth.
“Throughout my time working in our school system, I saw first-hand the positive impact that Origin Bank had on this community. I am looking forward to working with a group of people who are so passionate about making a difference in people’s lives,” said Mickey McCarty.
A graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe, McCarty earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He and his wife Toni share one son, Jacob, and are active members of First Methodist Church in Monroe.
