2018 Kettle Kick-off
The Salvation Army is ringing in the Holidays in Monroe

West Monroe, LA (November 6, 2018) – The Salvation Army of Northeast Louisiana is ringing in the holiday season at 10am on Thursday, November 15th in the City Council Chambers at West Monroe City Hall. Mayor Staci Albritton Mitchell will be joined by Corps Officer Captain Jerry Casey, the local Salvation Army Advisory Board, and an array of local community leaders including those with the West Monroe Chamber of Commerce. This event kicks off the year’s biggest fundraising program for The Salvation Army and will give the Northeast Louisiana community an opportunity to do the most good for those in need.

The Salvation Army of Northeast Louisiana serves 12 parishes in Northeast Louisiana, providing services and shelter to men, women, and families. Those services include the newly renovated 50-bed shelter that opened in July of 2018, which is just one way The Salvation Army uses donations from the Red Kettle campaign to make a positive impact on lives in this community.
