Richland Parish Issues RFP to Guide Growth Around $10 Billion Meta AI Data Center

Rayville, LA (August 6, 2025) - Richland Parish has officially released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified firms to develop a Comprehensive Plan, Land Use and Zoning Code, and Infrastructure Strategy in response to unprecedented growth tied to Meta’s new $10 billion AI Data Center.

As one of the largest private investments in Louisiana’s history, the Meta project is expected to bring thousands of jobs and major infrastructure improvements to the region. Richland Parish is taking proactive steps to ensure this growth is guided responsibly — protecting its agricultural heritage and rural character while preparing residents for jobs of the future.

Interested firms are invited to submit proposals through the Public Purchase portal.
