The Children's Museum and The Junior League of Monroe are proud to announce a generous contribution of $25,000from the Junior League of Monroe’s Endowment Fund. The funds will go toward the Capital Campaign for the relocation of the museum to Forsythe Park. A check presentation, which marks a significant milestone in the Junior League's ongoing mission to support community initiatives, will be April 30, 2025 at The Children’s Museum at 4PM.  Junior League members and their families, local leaders, and community supporters are encouraged to come and celebrate this YAY Day!
The mission of both organizations is to improve the lives of children in our region by providing vital resources, educational opportunities, and a network of support all over northeast Louisiana.
"We are deeply grateful for this generous contribution from The Junior League," said Melissa Saye, Executive Director of The Children’s Museum. “The League’s continued generosity and support over the years has added to the quality of life for our little visitors while introducing them to skills that will spark an interest in their future career choices.
“This gift reflects the strength of partnership in creating meaningful change,” said Haley Holley, President of the Junior League of Monroe. “We’re proud to invest in a space that will inspire and empower children and families across our community.”
The YAY Day will include a check presentation, underscoring the significant impact of the donation with remarks from both the Junior League and The Children’s Museum. The event also offered an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the Relocation Project and its progress as well as about The Junior League’s upcoming projects in the community.
