Twin City Lip Sync Battle on October 28

Join Twin City Ballet Company for our second year of the Twin City Lip Sync Battle to be held on Thursday October 28, 2021, at the Monroe Civic Center Arena. You’re invited to watch your favorite local celebrities as they sing and shake it to the songs everyone knows and loves.  Junior and senior ballet company dancers will be dancing alongside eleven duos, singles, and groups as they battle it out to become the Twin City Lip Sync Battle 2021 champion.
 
Doors open at 6:15, and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m.  General Admission tickets may be purchased at twincityballet.org or at the Monroe Civic Center Box Office.  Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door.  Sponsor table information is also available at twincityballet.org  or by contacting the TCB Board (Meghan Sellar at tclsb318@gmail.com).   Some perks of the sponsor tables include hors d’oeuvres, drink tickets and access to a VIP bar provided by Marsala Beverage.  
 
Our celebrity line up this year includes -Tori Krutzer Fisher as Elton John; Dr. Amber Shemwell and Brandi Dickens as Heart; Dr. Nicole West and her Corner Vet Crew as Queen; DeRon Talley as James Brown; John Majure as Technotronic; Erica Ryan, Amanda Wooten and David Bryant as the B52’s; Erik Stanley as Olivia Newton John; Leeanna Nelson, Dawn Bailey, Bambi Watson, Lindsay Mathews and Brook Schmitt as the the Spice Girls; Aimee Hayward as Taylor Swift; Joe King and Ginny Montgomery, Christine Monk, Ryan and Jessica Grigson, and Will Erwin with a mix of OutkastGwen Stefani and Van Halen; and last but certainly not least, Debbie Herrington and Cindy Stone as Madonna.

Twin City Ballet Company is chartered by the State of Louisiana as a non-profit organization to enrich the cultural environment of northeast Louisiana and the surrounding areas. Since 1979, under the artistic direction of Linda Lavender Ford, the dual aims of the company are to create an exciting dance experience in the community and offer an opportunity for training and stage experience to talented young dancers. The year-round program of performances and classes provides young dancers with training by an experienced faculty and world-renowned guest artists as performers, choreographers and teachers. The company, which embraces all styles of dance from classical ballet to contemporary and jazz, has become a haven for exceptional dancers. Three performances are held each year for the Twin City Ballet Company membership.
