ULM selected for 4 national rankings
 
The University of Louisiana Monroe has been selected for four national rankings by two companies which rank colleges and universities.
 
Top Master’s in Education (topmastersineducation.com) has chosen ULM as No. 2 in the category of Most Affordable Online Master’s in Secondary Education Degrees. There are 15 universities which ranked and the only other Louisiana school is Northwestern at No. 6. The criteria for ranking is based on tuition costs and the availability of financial assistance.
 
ULM is ranked No. 3 by Top Master’s in Most Affordable Online Master of Arts in Teaching Degrees. There are 15 universities on the list and ULM is the only one in Louisiana. According to topmastersineducation.com, the rankings are based on "tuition rates and associated costs of attendance.”
 
In the category of Best Online Master’s in Secondary Education Degrees from Top Master’s, ULM ranks 12th. The data for this category is based on institutional excellence and student success, according to the website. Data is from the college websites and other sources including U.S. News & World Report. In Louisiana, Northwestern is ranked No. 13 of the 15 universities.
 
Best Education Degrees (www.besteducationdegrees.com) ranks ULM No. 12 in Best Online Master of Arts in Teaching Degrees. ULM is the only Louisiana university on the list of 50. The ranking is based on tuition, average financial aid, expected early salary and institutional excellence.
 
“It is always gratifying to see ULM’s programs recognized nationally,” said President Nick J. Bruno. “The rankings show our tuition is very competitive and so are our programs. It is important people know this about ULM.”
